Why use ProxSi?
ProxSi is the most advanced universal proxy available for 3ds Max designed to support most leading 3rd party renderers. If you want to futureproof your pipeline and protect your 3d assets, use ProxSi.
You can load ProxSi assets from a Vray scene to a Corona or Arnold without having to convert or recreate them. Material shaders will still need reassigning. The proxy and its instances will all remain in their assigned position, keeping all applied transforms. By using ProxSi, you have choice to save assets within the scene or externally, plus having the ability to round trip edit, meaning you can create a proxy, convert it to an edit mesh for editing and save back to the proxy without loosing it’s X,Y,Z placement coordinates and transforms. ProxSi has been designed with built-in security features. It is the only tool available for 3ds Max that allows you to asset lock a model or scene , completely removing the ability to alter or export your intellectual property. The proxy model can be password protected with a timeout date stamp for file sharing and secure transfers. By entering the password you can unlock the model and convert it back to the original edit mesh.
